OMG! Where do I even begin to explain how wonderful this group is to me!!! They are like family and I love them all dearly. I’ve been coming to them religiously since September of 2015, after I experienced severe, chronic pain in my left shoulder and neck and my dr said to just take Advil and deal with it. Dr. Jones collaborated with Stephanie, the physical therapist, and Peter, the acupuncturist, and together we all decided on a plan of action to alleviate my pain. After a year of weekly acupuncture and PT sessions, I was so much better! I have continued going every week since then, for acupuncture and chiropractic sessions to maintain my pain free-life and general health, as well as to now treat my sciatica. They are the most caring, fun-loving, professional, and knowledgeable group of health experts that I have ever experienced, and I look forward to each and every visit! Highly recommend!!!

I busted up my shoulder (labral tear) lifting weights. My Orthopedic doctor told me the ultimate fix would be surgery but after four weeks of PT with Dr. Jones and Staff the pain was gone. I was very reluctant to go to a chiropractor.  I didn’t want to be one of those people who spent years getting “adjusted”.  However, my sciatica was so bad that I wasn’t able to sleep at night.  My orthopedist wanted to put me on the “Advil diet”, but I didn’t want to go through that again.  So, I checked with my health plan to find a local chiropractor who was covered by my insurance.  When I called the office, the person who answered was very friendly and professional.  There were no problems making an appointment.  Dr. Jones has a website that allowed me to complete all of my paperwork online, so I wouldn’t have to waste any time on my first visit.  His office is modern and clean.  His receptionist is exceptionally friendly.  Having dealt with so many doctors’ offices with rude and uncooperative staffs, she was a breath of fresh air.  Dr. Jones has a great personality.  He’s open and very easy to speak with.  We discussed my symptoms and he explained to me his recommended course of action.  After two sessions, my back pain was gone and we’ve now started to work on my hip pain.  My initial concern that he would want me to spend “years” going was unfounded.  Based on my progress, he expects me to be done in a matter of a few weeks.  I recommend Dr. Jones without reservation.*

I first went to see Dr. Jones after an appointment with an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist and being told that my 16-month old son needed to get tubes in his ears.  Devin had had fluid in his ears for about four and a half months and I was told that his hearing was becoming affected.  I decided to take Devin to see Dr. Jones after hearing many positive stories about chiropractic work clearing children’s ears.  The most amazing part of my experience came just after the first adjustment.  My son Devin had only begun walking three weeks prior and I thought it was normal for him to be falling so much and to seem so unbalanced.  Dr Jones noticed it immediately and felt that his equilibrium was off.  Devin had his first adjustment that day and amazingly walked much more steadily from that moment on!  He wobbled much less and fell less frequently.  I was truly astonished!

We continued to visit a few times a week for the next 3-4 weeks, during which time I cancelled Devin’s surgical procedure.  I was a little anxious about cancelling, but really felt that he wasn’t going to need it.  After about one month of treatment, I had Devin’s ears checked and they were clear!  It is difficult to explain the wide range of emotion I felt: relief, joy, excitement, gratitude…

I have chronic neck and back issues due to a severe accident years ago and if it were not for seeing Dr. Jones regularly I would truly be unable to function. He is legitimately my hero. I am so thankful I found Dr. Jones and his amazing crew at Total Health Chiropractic. Two years ago I was forced into early retirement by poor health. I was suffering from chronic pain, having to walk with a cane, I was taking six prescription drugs for varioius ailments and over twenty pills daily. My life was a misery. I went to my primary care physician, a rheumatologist, a pulmonary specialst, a neurologist, a dental specialist and a pain management clinic just to name a few. Not one doctor offered a cause, or treatment other than drugs and had no mention of cures.

After much time, pain and money I started looking for alternative solutions. I was fortunate to find Dr. Jones. After two months of adjustments I am sleeping better solving three of my medical conditions and feel I have plenty of energy. I no longer need a cane to walk and can move with less stiffness and pain. In addition a persistent ear ache is gone after two years and four doctors who did not help.

I am taking one prescription medication, two pills per day, rather than twenty and I’m able to not always need others help. I can enjoy retirement to its fullist. I can not find the words to praise and thank Dr. Jones enough for all he has done for my health. I highly recommend his skills, knowledge and most especially the caring treatment I have received from Dr. Stephen Jones.

In October of 2013, I threw my neck out severely just from hitting it on a desk when reaching for keys that I had dropped on the floor. I have had neck issues for about 15 years after tearing a trapezius muscle in grad school. However, this was by far the worst that it had gone out for many years and significantly impaired my ability to do much of anything. Worse, I had just relocated to Northern NJ and not being able to turn my head while driving was both scary and dangerous.

After suffering with extreme pain when trying to turn and muscle spasms from favoring my neck for a week with no improvement, I decided to try to see if a chiropractor could help. I didn’t want to “wait and see” as I had in the past when I first injured my neck as it had taken me over a year to get to a mostly pain free status when I had hurt it previously and it had tended to “go out” whenever I did certain exercises or was overly stressed anyways. I thought that a chiropractor might help because a friend of a friend had given me a “mini-adjustment” when he saw me struggling with neck pain at my friend’s wedding. As that adjustment had done as much, or even more, good  than the 3 months of physical therapy I had undergone with the original injury, I was willing to try anything that might speed up the healing process.

After 2 weeks of no improvement since hitting my head, I had started searching the web for local chiropractic businesses and found Total Health Chiropractic. When I called them after a particularly painful drive home from work (a muscle spasm when driving home from work had almost caused an accident), the staff at Total Health Chiropractic was fantastic. Jacquie was able to schedule me an appointment for the next day and was very helpful when I called to follow up about whether I needed to bring any specific items with me and as to their fragrance policy etc. Dr Jones continued that experience by completely explaining what he intended to do immediately to give me some relief, and what his long term plan would be.

My neck wasn’t cured overnight, but each visit brought relief and demonstrated noticeable results with improved movement. After 2 months though, my neck was pain free, but more importantly, I had significantly improved movement and flexibility in compared with the past decade. I’m finding it to be a welcome change to not plan my work outs or yard work with an eye towards “how would my neck going out affect future travel or work plans.” Moreover, based on this positive experience, I now know that I’m not fated to experience the same chronic back pain that I’ve seen my parents and other family members suffer from.*

I was totally impressed with the staff and Dr. Everyone was extremely pleasant and professional. Dr. Jones made me feel very comfortable and talked to me throughout my Chiropractic session.
